The challenge was not writing another queue worker. It was enforcing reliable behavior across burst traffic, unstable mobile networks, and noisy hardware events.

We implemented event bucketing, retry policies, and cooldown controls so the notification flow remained deterministic under pressure without overwhelming downstream services.
